Some people are dim.

I'm talking to someone who supports Bush. I ask if they saw the video of Bush in a classroom on 9/11. They say No.

I remark that he didn't leave the class upon hearing about the second plane, that he went to the cafeteria afterward, etc.

This idiot proclaims, "That's not true."

He never saw the video and he's telling me this? What a damned moron.

This is the same sheep-like blind following that I see in most everyone who supports this fake-ass president and his fake-ass rambling lies.

Even if he never saw the video, he MUST know more about it than me! After all, whatever you say is true - just like when Bush says things and they're automatically true no matter how false they are!

A few things I've learned during the VirtualUnknowns.com process.

1. A month is too long to hold a vote.
2. Magazine publishers never answer the phone.
3. Magazine publishers never answer voicemail.
4. Magazine publishers never answer e-mail.
5. I can't wait for the winning artist to be decided, yet I remain cautious and pray they will fulfill their duties. (If not, it's on to the next person - and so on and so on.)
6. Some people will plug the site to get votes, but the majority would rather lose.

Hotmail decided that my Petrockfromhell@hotmail.com e-mail address was too old, (like.. five, six years?) and had too many old e-mails (including corrospondance with Marvel Comics, friends I have since lost touch with, etc.) so Hotmail decided the best thing to do was delete every single message in my inbox.

I know I logged in only a few weeks ago, so I'm really just wondering if they got tired of hosting my massive back-logs of e-mail. lol

"Virtual Unknowns" Artist competition and Character vote announced!

With interactive content becoming more and more prevalent in modern media, the most reader-involved comic book project EVER has been launched!

It's all going down at http://www.VirtualUnknowns.com !

YOU get to choose the artist who will be illustrating "the Unknowns", a comic book scripted by Virtual Unknowns creator and writer Christopher H. Wolf.

The Virtual Unknowns project seeks to shed light on creative talent that has not yet been recognized by the comic industry. Artists can submit their illustrations, after which they will be given an 'artist page' on the website featuring their submitted work. On April first, (don't read too much into that) artist voting will begin. Visitors will vote in a secure poll as to which artist they want to see drawing the Unknowns.

But wait! There's more! On top of that, visitors to the site will also be choosing WHICH CHARACTERS will be the Unknowns. Users can choose five characters in another vote. The five with the most votes at the end of the voting period will be the Unknowns, and will star in the comic book.

For comic book enthusiasts, the Virtual Unknowns project is the greatest venue in which to voice your opinions. You will be able to mold the team via your voting habits!

So I went to the voice studio today (new to me since the old studio moved out of town) and read for several parts in the film.

Hoping I get a recurring part, but of course since this is one film, it won't be that much work :(

I actually have MORE reason to hope I don't get a part, because then I can come in for incidentals and extra-work, which will probably amount to more time and money.

The studio is pretty cool. The old studio (Coastal) was very VERY efficient and the woman (Pamela) was extremely nice.

So far this new studio (Swirl) is looking good, too. It seems a bit more laid back, and the woman I worked with seems nice, too. Good first impression, and I hope I made an equally good one as well.

The have a tiny chiuaua named Goldberg, who thought my shoes were pretty damn tastey.

I miss doing Anime work, damn it.

Plus I'm having trouble meeting the 'required amount listed' becuase A.) the store's scanner doesn't work, and B.) I'm having to do the actual listing on my own time. (because of reason "A")

I'm doing eBay work for a local comic shop, and having a hard time of it due to technical difficulties and the fact that I have to find a way to make time (out of my personal time) to do more. I get 15% of what I sell on eBay, + $50/m in store credit. WHAT A SWEET DEAL!
